Update - A Facebook Post on the 30th April indicated that she will be downsizing, using a shared commercial kitchen, and taking orders as well as selling at farmers markets. Additionally, she is releasing cookbooks based upon her recipes, downsized for home use. As much as I want the cookbook, there is nothing that I can do that will make it taste like hers. We might get close, but not close enough. I look forward to buying pies at the farmers market. Hopefully she makes it to Gilbert's Corner a few times a month.
Their business hours make it hard to get there, but this place has hands down the best apple crumble pie and chicken pot pies I have ever eaten.
A family favorite for years. Every holiday, this pie shop is a go to! We always get their apple pies which our family loves. Very friendly staff and the shop is tucked away in the adorable historic town of Aldie VA. Definitely preorder in advance to make sure you get what you want! 10/10 recommend

Perfect pies. They tie with Mom's as the best store in the region for pie. I can't wait to try to more savory and sweet pies from this quaint, warm pie shop. Note: They close earlier than most businesses so something to keep in mind if you want to swing by for some pie.
Love it! This is the cutest pastry shop, run by the sweetest ladies ever. Once again, thank you E for introducing me to this place. We've tried their Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, Bread Pudding, and Carrot Cake so far and it's all amazing. We bought pastries for family and friends as well and they all loved it. Nothing is overly sweet and quality ingredients are definitely used. There is no seating in here. Seriously, these ladies have beautiful hearts and you will taste all the love they put into their baked goods.
Ever since reading Laura V.'s review of this place - I've tried to make an excuse to stop - my two previous attempts - both times the place was closed. BUT - I finally arrived today - when they were open. On my way home from Middleburg I pulled in. I wanted something to go for a little later - I chatted with the two nice ladies who were running the place - I asked if they had any "pot pie" - they did not - apparently you can get this - but you have to let them know 24 hours in advance and they will make them for you. And Omigosh by golly - they have a "Thanksgiving Pie." It's a pie with stuffing for the crust, filled with succulent turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. You also need to pre-order this pie by 24 hours to get one. So I ordered the "Turkey Lunch Special," a heaping mound of mashed potatoes, moist mouth watering turkey, stuffing, gravy, a roll, and cranberry sauce. I got it to go. After looking over the menu - I really wanted one of everything to go - one of every pie, one of every quiche, yada, yada, yada! I got that lunch special home - tossed it in the microwave for one minute to heat it up a bit and WOW! Best damn Turkey I can remember eating in a VERY long time! I hoovered through that like it was nothing! Delicious! Mouthwatering! There is also a Tea room upstairs - I think reservations are required for the Tea room. Thank you Laura V. for turning me onto this place. I will be going back! Again! And again! Did I mention again?!
